Lisa Candela is a sensitive and masterful photographer. She honed her craft in Los Angeles, California, during the early 90’s, documenting the inspiring actors, dancers, musicians and artists around her. Her career and art is a natural extension of her curiosity about people from all walks of life. With goodwill towards all and an eye for the beauty in all things, Lisa is particularly drawn to children and women. One of her goals for her art is to reach out to people who struggle with pain and poverty in their lives. The consummate learner, Lisa enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures. She has shot in Peru, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Bahamas and England. Lisa now splits her time between Santa Barbara, California and Sayulita, Mexico and has a deep respect for the Mexican people and their culture
